This work aimed at the deployment of very small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) in the enhancement of telecommunication systems in the developing counties of the world. For Africa, and for the economy of the whole planet, hundreds of millions of people across the continent who are currently denied reasonable access to even simple voice service represent a vast untapped pool of creativity. This very large and potentially very powerful economic dynamo demands access to more than the simplest tools of communication, as a means to unleash the potential productivity of its own knowledgebase into an increasingly connected world. Installation and configuration process of a VSAT for an improved performance as it relates to developing countries is also analyzed in this work. This has become a part of few success stories of companies, businesses organization (Cyber cafes) and communities in developing countries that have deployed VSAT terminals for communication.
