DEFORMATION OF INTERNALLY PRESSURIZED PIPE OF A CLASS OF COMPRESSIBLE VULCANISED RUBBER MATERIAL

The finite elastic deformation of an internally pressurized pipe of a Neo-Hookean material is analyzed for stresses and displacements. The analysis leads to a single linear ordinary differential equation for the determination of stresses and displacements. It is shown that the pressure cannot be arbitrary for this category of compressible vulcanized rubber pipe.
